WELCOME to our monthly rundown of some of the coolest events happening in NYC! Each month we at devivre Concierge will trawl the interwebs, to bring you some of the more unique and New Yorky goings-on about town. Here are our top picks for September:

Sights:

On Saturday, Sept 24th on Governors Island at 3pm you can participate in this year's MP3 Experiment 13. Check out the website the week before to find out what props to bring, colors to wear etc. Then you have to download the MP3 onto your device, get yourself to Governors Island and hit play at precisely 3pm. Much fun will ensue!

Sounds:

The Beach Boys (I know right?!) will be playing at Central Park Summer Stage on Wednesday, Sept 14th. This is one of the last outdoor music programmes of the season, so what better way to cling desperately to the last days of Summer than with these guys. This is a benefit concert, so you can get tickets here!

Learn:

about pickles at this year's Lower East Side Pickle day on Sept 25th 12-5pm (Seriously! Everything is happening that weekend!) OK! I don't know how much exactly you will learn, except for how delicious all the different things that you can pickle are. There is also a home pickling contest if you're a pickling pro.

Explore:

On Sunday, Sept 25th, 12-6pm explore Brooklyn's largest street festival, The Atlantic Antic. There will be DJs, live music, all kinds of performances, delicious eats and enough gift ideas to get you through the holiday season. Also, you can drink a beer out on the street while taking it all in!
