At deVivre, our ultimate goal is to help you optimize your schedule so that you can be living your best life at all times. Less time executing and more time L-I-V-I-N. Sometimes that means we concierge your to-do list, sometimes that means we concierge your travel plans, and sometimes that just means we literally concierge your calendar. After all, once we wrangle that dry cleaning/grocery shopping/apartment move for ya, you're gonna have a lot of free time on your hands. We want to be sure you make the most of it.

End of summer! Back to school! Harvest time! Sweater weather! Fall festivals! September is one of those months that is so packed full of fun things to do that it's hard to pick a plan and stick to it! Now that the summer weather heat and humidity is calming down ( 🙏) and the crystal cool Indian Summer days are heading our way ( 🙏) it's high time to indulge in the celebratory food and drink festivals that come with traditional harvest time and blow off the dust that settled on your intellect during a summer of trashy beach reads with some gorgeous outdoor art and culture. Get out there and dive in! Here's your deVivre Concierge Calendar for September 2018:

September 10th-17th: As it is a truth universally acknowledged that books can cover infinitive issues and themes. The Brooklyn Book Festival channels its inner Jane Austen to put together some of the most interesting a relevant panels. You can hear authors discuss everything from Moral Culpability in Global Crises to Theater of War and beyond. I challenge you not to learn something you didn't know. For those of you with kiddoes, Children's day on the 16th is a must-do.

September 13-16 & 20-23: Head down to Brooklyn Bridge Park in Dumbo for the seventh annual Photoville. This is an exhibition of over 600 visual artists along with workshops, vendors and activities all centered in and around a small city of shipping containers. If you really want to OD on art, you can also catch a ferry over to Governors Island and check out the Governors Island Art Fair which is also a fab way to explore more of the island's government buildings than you might ordinarily gain access to.

September 15th: What's the buzz? It's the NYC Honey Fest out at Rockaway Beach. Observation hives and live hive inspections help you learn more about our most fascinating little friends and celebrate lady-power (did you know that out of 40,000 bees in a hive 39,800 of them are female?).  Plus: HONEY! Come for the costume competition, stay for the mead.

September 22nd: Free Museum DayGrab a free ticket to visit an NYC museum including the Cooper Hewitt Museum of Design, The Jewish Museum, and the Rubin Museum of Art. So much art, so little time.

September 23rd: Come on out and boogie at the Atlantic Antic. It's the 44th anniversary of the legendary annual street fair, and the block party doesn't disappoint. The 10 block stretch of the avenue usually takes about 10 minutes to walk, but when closed to cars and open to, well, antics, you can spend all day perusing the stalls, gorging on incredible street food, and selecting a libation (or two) from the local beer vendors. Live local music the whole way means many chances for impromptu dance parties!

Get out and experience our fair city!
