What's your favorite part of Halloween - the tricks or the treats? Here are our favorite NYC events where you can enjoy both!  [Looking for something specially curated? Reach out to us at deVivre and we can plan something spooktacular for you and your friends/family!]

Looking to entertain the little ones?

Join The Friends of The High Line on Saturday, October 29th from 11a-3p, for a Haunted High Line Halloween: Travel back in time and learn the history of the High Line. Get into character with artistic face painting, capture memories with our old-time photo booth, go on a scavenger hunt, dance, and watch live performances. And definitely don't miss out on the Magical Biscuit Company in the Chelsea Market Passage: What was it like to make thousands of Oreos and Nabisco biscuits in the factories along the train tracks? Learn from a Magical Biscuit Company worker! Then get your face painted by Agostino Arts.

Do you crave chocolate like vampires crave blood?

Check out Grand Bazaar NYC's Artisanal Sweet Treats Bazaar on Sunday, October 23rd: "Make your Halloween extra sweet this year..with 25 of the best artisan "sweet" makers in New York City. Shop and enjoy the best artisanal macaroons, spiced pumpkin pies, freshly baked cupcakes, experimental ice cream sandwiches, and the most mouthwatering truffles and chocolates" boasts Eventbrite. What makes this treat even sweeter (besides the free entry) is that Grand Bazaar donates all proceeds to four neighborhood public schools, benefiting over 4,000 children!

Don't have a sweet tooth?

Check out this amazing Pulsd event -- "Kick off the crab season by going on a culinary tour of the Atlantic coast and feasting on unlimited fresh crustaceans at The Brooklyn Crab Festival on Saturday October 15th. In the spirit of a true oceanfront crab fest, you'll enjoy 90 minutes of all-you-can eat Blue Claw Crabs ... you can also experience the delights of a Cajun Boil with sides of corn and potatoes to boot!"
