WELCOME to our monthly rundown of some of the coolest events happening in NYC! Each month we at devivre Concierge will trawl the interwebs, to bring you some of the most unique and New-Yorky goings-on about town. Here are our top picks for May:

Sights:

-Check out New York's new interactive theater experience, or as they put it "Adventure Theater"; Accomplice. These immersive performances are scattered all over Manhattan They last 2-3 hours, and start every half hour of the afternoon Fri-Sun. It's part scavenger hunt, part whodunit and the ticket price doesn't seem so high when you factor in the free drinks and snacks.

Sounds:

-I just a love a silent disco and the Astor Blaster seems particularly fun in that it will take place on the Fri 5th eve 6:30-10:30pm at Astor Place and you can help build the playlist! There will be headphones on a first come, first served basis or you are encouraged to bring your own tunes to dance to. There will also be 3 DJs there on the night so the musical possibilities are endless!

Learn:

-about so many important and particularly relevant topics at the 6th annual Workers Unite Film Fest running from Fri May 5th-11th at cinema village (12th & University Pl) and then continuing with events all over the city till May 25th. Every year there is a plethora of inspiring documentaries which remind me of why (cough, cough) the struggle is real!!! In these darker times, I recommend you check some screenings out to remind you why we fight!

Explore:

-Luna Park at Coney Island, which is now open weekends. A great staycation you can take for the price of a subway ticket is to Coney Island where you can easily just people-watch to your heart's content. If you want a few more thrills (I do!) then grab a discounted wristband (doesn't include "extreme thrill" rides) from Goldstar or just grab some credits and head for the Thunderbolt.
